I wonder if anyone has ever brought this up, but are any of you interested in BMWCCA License Plates?
I thought it might be cool, especially if you've got a "classic" car!

It's been discussed before. I believe there was an issue in NJ where we needed to pre-pay for a fairly large number of plates. NY has them though, and they look pretty cool.

maybe we can get this revived.
i guess one of the board members would have to contact the state and get them a copy of the logo or something.
we are a national non-profit organization that have the number of members in good standing...
im a lifetime member! so i won't be a problem.
i just never have the time to show up to the meetings!

I just got off the phone with the NJ MVC Special Plates Unit.
It was explained to me, that we have to petition the NJ Senate for approval of these special plates.
We will need at least 500 signatures for it to be presented to the Senate to come to a vote.
If approved, the first 500 people who signed the petition will be obligated to purchase a set of the new specialty plates.
If 500, overall, are not purchased after approval, the legality of the plates will be forfeited. So it would be safer to submit a petition of atleast 750-800 signatures.
They will be sending an application packet to me today.
Is there a fax # or email to a person I can forward the packet or to the board?

Lets do it.
I have at least 8 cars in my family. We are all in. Chris Graff has about 5. Mike K has 4. That is 17 right there between 3 people. I am sure the dealership can push it as well.
