<Help> Floor pan gone bad

Post by kevnj »

Hello All,

While getting started again on my E30 Track Car I ran into a snag, the four letter car guy word that will keep anyone restoring or working on a 20 plus year car up at night…RUST

Part of the floor pan that merges with the transmission tunnel needs to be replaced. I had previously pulled up the carpet and saw nothing, but further inspection revealed these issues.

The good news is that I have a donor car that I can use for the replacement piece so fabrication should be nil (famous last words). The bad news is that I need someone to do the welding for me.

Will pay for services rendered. Also have some parts I’d be willing to give up if that works out too. As always you will be well fed and bribed with food and drink.

Anyone with any leads please let me know.

Thanks,
-Kev

Bumping this thread. Anyone have any recommendations? I live in Central Jersey in Franklin Park (08823).

Thanks in advance,
