WTB Fuel Filter Bracket E30 325-Found

Post by NeilE30 »

Hi All,

Looking to replace the fuel filter bracket on my 1991 325IX. I'm sure it may be the same on similar 325 models although I have discovered that the one from a 318 is not the same. It's the bracket that bolts to the chassis on the corner of the gas tank. You can contact me at neilgambony@njbmwcca.org

Thanks, Neil

Wow! 25$ for a 5$ part.

If I get 50$ for mine, I'll give Neil and Al 49$ for taking it off.
First I'll have to figure out how to list things on ebay.

To make a long story short, I looked at the part on ebay which I didn't think about doing earlier since I wanted to see if I could find one locally. When I looked at the one (it was listed twice) on ebay I wasn't sure if the price was a good deal or not so I called my local dealer, Flemington BMW, who is one of the Club's sponsors. It turned out that with my Club discount, the new part which I should have in 3-5 days, was less expensive than the used one from ebay.

Thanks everyone.

Neil
