Do we have new Limerock Headquarters??

Have we switched to the Wake Robin Inn as our main lodgings?
Will we have Tech the evening before at the same old place
(The Interlaken) or the Wake Robin Inn. Vic?

Hey Walt, we missed you at Lime Rock this week!
I am looking for a new venue for event-eve Tech, provided we continue it. The reason we began doing Tech at the Interlaken [ca 1990] was because we had two garage bays available and got the cars inside. This is no longer the case, and darkness [for the spring and fall events] and/or bad weather can compromise the efficacy of our spot-checks.
For our final Lime Rock event of this season, which is on a Saturday, we will likely not do event-eve tech. We had no event-eve tech for the Nov.'04 Saturday Lime Rock event and things worked out quite well, Tech wise.

I'll even wash the car.
Count me in for any help that you need for teching. (Is that a word?)

I have been going to LRP for a few years, and helping with tech for a few also. I do not recall actually teching a car in the garage at the Interlaken - just outside with flashlights.
The "problem" with the Interlaken is, flat out, they didn't want us there. As Dave said "they barely tolerated us." In contrast, the Wake Robin opened all the doors and provided a very warm, welcoming atmosphere. I think we have a new home base.
