While in bed this morning, I hear my car alarm going off. So I jumped up and notice lights flashing outside my window. Ran to the windows, it was the electric wires flashing like crazy. So, I'm about to move away and go back to bed. I look down in front the house and notice my car door open. "Can you image!" I had to get my glasses, to see clearly. My car door was not open, someone had crashed into my car. I could not get my cloths on fast enough, I'm running downstairs with my cloths in my hands. When I get outside both the white car (BMW 533) and the black car (2000 740iL) were hit.
This lady hit the black car which was parked behind the white car. Her car ended up where the black was parked, the black car where the white car was parked and the white hit the light pole infront the house.
The black car is done, the white car damage is under the car, rear doors cannot open or close.
Now, can you image a Honda Accord 3300 pounds, hitting the black car 4600 pounds, which hit the white car about 3100 pounds. The black and white cars moved 15 feet. How fast was this woman driving before impact? Hmmmm
The woman stated she tried to avoid hitting a deer, but the police officer told her "I've not seen a deer in these parts for the last 8 years". The woman then changed her story, and said she fell asleep at the wheel.
I just picked up and 1994 325i E36, but it needs a converter, and a few other parts.

Two of my cars were hit Saturday morning
Wow, that's just awful!! I am sorry that happened. I hope the damage is not too extensive.
Back in college, I had pretty much the same thing happen. I was at my parents' house when someone's garage door opener fell from his visor while he was driving past and he swerved while reaching to get it. His car, a Dodge Omni coupe, plowed right into the back of my car. My car (Plymouth Duster) was pushed forwards, and bent upwards around the rear axle, and was totalled. In turn, my car pushed my brother's friend's car (Ford Escort) about 5 feet, which then pushed my sister's car (Toyota Celica) 10 feet forward. I sincerely doubt he was doing the posted speed limit of 25 mph.
I suspect "your" Honda driver was speeding, too, maybe just a little. I hope the insurance company doesn't try to screw you over here. Good luck!

MrMCoupe,
In the police report the driver admitted she fell asleep at the wheel. This was after she told the police and myself a deer was on the road and she tried to avoid hitting the deer. The police replied "lady I've never seen a deer in these parts for the last 8 years."
Two summons were issued, one for driving above the 25MPH speed limit and the other for damage to private property.
