E38 outside temp sensor

Ran over a curb with the right corner of car and knocked off the temp sensor. Body shop tells me I may need to replace the entire bumper. Any harm in driving the car without the sensor?

Definitely go with the battery TENDER (as opposed to just a charger) from Walmart. It's made by Black and Decker. I have seen ads for "HID conversion kits" for older BMWs. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Seat Covers

I have a 1994 740iL (E32) with 102K miles. Front drivers seat leather is starting to wear. Any recommendations regarding seat covers or other solutions are welcome. Thank you.

Navigation Update

Received an offer for a navigation update for my 2001 740iL (E38). Any thoughts on this? And how do you remove the old CD from the nav unit? Thanks for any help.
