Why has NJBMWCCA placed a requirement for drivers to be 18 or older? I've been looking around and cannot find if NNJR PCA has a age requirement. Is this because of insurance purposes or just an immaturity level? It's very hard to improve one's driving if one cannot find a place to practice.

Ok, well I can't make it this Sunday. Hopefully I can make the next scheduled one with some adults on the slower carts, so I can have some fun too!

I might not be able to make this. Anyhow, do you guys think I would be able to race with the "adults" even though I'm not 18 with a valid driver's license? I've got a learner's permit to substitute.

I recently got my learner's permit and would love to attend some karting days. It would be the closest thing to motorsports for me and my first experience to racing. V17 would be the most convenient for me to attend.
