Shoutout to Convenience Collision
In addition to THE quarantine, I had my own mini-quarantine - being without my E30. A fender-bender last summer resulted in tons of anxiety, and fights with insurance. Eventually I found Convenience Collision through these very forums, and frustrations vanished. And now my E30 is finally back! https...

Re: Brake Rotors - BMW or Zimmerman
Not sure about physical/material differences, but I've been buying Zimmerman rotors on E36 and E46, and was happy with the quality. As far as I know they're made in Germany and are considered high-quality OEM-replacement parts for German automakers.

Re: #mtrackday@Lime Rock Park
The same link you gave still works. https://mtrackdays.bmwusa.com/ When you pick a track and a date, it asks for $250 - all tracks seem to have the same fee. I have the same feeling - free would have been a no-brainer, but for that much I''m thinking about DE instead. I might give them a call to see...

Re: Need windshield for E36 M3
Just jumping in to say you're right about being wary of Safelite. Had an e30 windshield replaced by them, and the guy put the gasket back with what looked like a big meat hook. No surprise, he placed 2 nice scratches into the A pillar.

Re: #mtrackday@Lime Rock Park
Sorry to bring up an old thread, but are M track days not free anymore? I followed the link to the registration page, and it seems they're $250 now. Did you have to go through any secret channels to register? Monticello seems nice and close too.
Thanks,

WTB: E36 M3
Hello all,
I'm starting to look for a daily-driveable e36 M3. My budget ceiling is around 9K. Manual is a must-have, 4 doors nice to have. Hoping for mostly stock, stock suspension especially. From what I've seen these don't seem to be unrealistic criteria.
Thanks!

Are 986 Boxsters allowed for HPDE?
I'm thinking of picking up a 1st-gen Boxster to daily drive, and to take to the track once or twice a year. I know this chapter's general rule against convertibles without roll cages, but I was wondering if anyone ran the Brey-Krausse rollbar extension. http://www.bkauto.com/R_3030_Roll_Bar_Extensio...

Best Paintless Dent Repair/body shop in NJ
Hi guys, looking for recommendations to repair some shallow dings on my e30. Has anyone here had PDR done, and can recommend a place? Body shop suggestions also welcome, if it turns out PDR can't be done. I'm located in East Brunswick.
Thanks y'all!

Hello all,
Looking for a 3.73 LSD to replace one in my 89 325is. Would prefer it if mileage is known.

Re: >>> WTB: E30 Medium Cased 3.73 LSD
Looking for one as well. If someone is stockpiling LSD's, maybe we can do a group buy, haha.
Actually, is the medium-cased diff the stock size for an '89 325is?
Thanks,
Vlad
