I'm looking to install a digital tach into my race car which has an E36 S52 engine. Does anyone have a recommendation for this type of tachometer? Any suggestions on what to look out for on wiring these tachs in a BMW?

Just touching back on this topic.....I'm still looking for a rear, prefer 3:23, something less than 3:73.

They are more expensive than Five Star for sure, I don't have the final invoice. There are many options on thickness and finishes, so depends on what you want, around $1,100 for the windshield, rear and quarters.

I'm looking for a 3:23 (or close too) rear diff for my 1984 E30. Must be Posi, or Limited Slip at a minimum, no open rear. This is for an S52 E30 upgraded car.

I would like to purchase or trade for a 1984+ black dash, prefer no cracks but negotiable. I have turned my car into a race car so I have windows, wipers and other misc parts to unload in trade if interested.

I did the Nascar driving experience at Pocono long before I knew about the BMW club and driving events, I had a BLAST!!! Since then I have done DE's, became an instructor and now going for the race school.....speed is a bad drug :twisted: Have your Dad do the Nascar drive along just so he gets an id...

I would suggest lighten up on the "death grip" approach and start to drive with your fingers. If you are holding onto the wheel to tight then you loose a lot of feed back. You may want to look into a better system to keep you planted in the seat. None of this would have helped in this situation. Bot...
