I need to replace the top on my e46 convertible. Does anyone have a recommendation on a shop in the Monmouth/Ocean county area? I’m not planning on OEM replacement. Thanks in advance for any help.

Have you checked REALOEM for the part number? It might help you find other models that used the same part.

Posting this for the owner...(not me, and not affiliated). I chatted with him earlier today and he seems like a pretty decent guy. The car was allegedly owned by a CCA member in MD prior to him. I found an old set of 6x9 (I think) speakers that I believe are from the rear deck of an E36...I'm assuming they will fit others too. Obviously they're old, but they're free so you can't beat the price. Let me know if you want them.

I realize that this doesn’t answer your question but have you thought about a quick disconnect?
