I don't know your needs or what you are looking to accomplish, obviously, but I will tell you that neither will hold a candle to a classic Mini Cooper in the 'fun to drive' category. The Mini is a riot on 13" wheels; either car you mention as potential alternatives are, well, thoroughly modern cars.
