Looking for shop for suspension setup

Post by m3hauler »

I'm looking for a recommendation for a shop in Bergen County (or a really good guy in need of a lot of beer!) that can/can help corner balance and align my SpecE36 race car. Primarily I need access to scales. Any recommendation easy to tow to and somewhere I don't have to ride like a rented mule to get the work actually completed would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks for pointing that out! I went through the list a couple days ago but didn't see them listed. Where should I send your beer????

As far as I know Spece36 does not have coil over supension. Can corner balancing be adjusted without the ability to change spring height?Relocating small weight doesn't really make much difference.

The SpecE36 suspension is an H&R coilover setup, so fully adjustable for corner balancing.

Adjustable coilover in the front only, but rear ride height is adjustable.

Your spec car is street legal? Are you anywhere close to minimum weight?

I don't think a competitive SpecE36 car (which I have not validated mine to be, yet!) could be anywhere near street legal. Mine is stripped pretty bare (within the rules, of course) and weighs 2,800 lbs with a 1/2-tank of gas and me in it. Minimum weight is 2,760 lbs.[/quote]
