E36 1992 325-i Water in Spark Plug holes

Post by RealM3E30 »

Here is the senerio, pulled plugs on new track car, replaced plugs, valve cover gasket, cleaned everything before putting parts back in. Drove car about two miles, and since it has been parked. Just pulled the coil pack and there is water in the spark plug holes, car was in a garage for the last four months, any ideas to where the water came from ????? R 8)

Ps. Not mine

Condensation does collect there especially if the car is just started infrequently and never driven at speed or fully gotten up to temperature to burn off any excess water vapor.
