Found Oil in Throttle body of 85 E28

Any idea why this would happen, and how can I prevent it from happening.

Does this mean oil is also in the Intake maniford?

Are we talking about a 528e or a 535i? And how much oil? A thin film or coating is OK, however a lot would be cause for concern.

I have the 528e, it a good of oil. It had a yellowish color to it.
