Radio Tip for E/36

Post by davidfinch1 »

My radio would not reset when you entered the code in the LTW. I stopped by Hunterdon to find out where to ship it to get it repaired. Brian Monohan suggested I remove it and put it in the freezer for 2 hours. He said this would discharge the capasitors and allow it to reset. I was a little skeptical but it worked!

Now David you know LTWs were not meant to have radios!

Dave, are we 100% sure that the radio code is correct? Have you entered it in the past? Many Many Many cars have wrong radio code cards. Match the serial number from the card to the plate/sticker on the radio to be sure. If there is a difference in the numbers, let me know.
