There will be no aftermarket coding done to this vehicle. BMW NA and their dealer network are the only ones who will touch it as long as it is under warranty.

If the right type and quantity of oil was used, the diff may require a little more friction modifier in the oil. Buy a bottle of your favorite flavor (GM, Red Line) and add it to the diff. If the noise goes away you are done.
