Bill,

I know of a non-turbo 1 series which needed an oil cooler for advanced driving. I haven't heard of issues with the turbo cars. Fresh oil and clean cooler vanes should be all you need in addition to the normal track prep.

N20 HPDE results

I'm contemplating an HPDE with my 228i. I've only run non-m normally aspirated straight sixes till now. Has anyone had experience with an N20 powered car at an HPDE? Is there anything I should be aware of or any different cool practices I should follow if I track it? I'm run intermediate
